Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about "challenging relationships" she's been a part of amid her ongoing divorce from Ben Affleck.

The beloved actress played wrestler Anthony Robles' mother, Judy Robles, in 2024 biopic Unstoppable, and was able to directly correlate her timeline to the character she portrayed.

"We both grew up Latina in this country. We both had children and have hopes and dreams for them. We both had challenging relationships, which left us holding our families together."

The "On The Floor" hitmaker told Variety that she's tried to explain to Judy how much of an inspiration she is to mothers across the globe, but the matriarch is very humble.

"I tell her all the time, ‘You need to own who you are and what you’ve done. You’re inspiring every mother who has ever struggled. You really have triumphed. You’ve raised a son who has become a leader, and you deserve credit.’ But she’s very humble."

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, 2024, exactly two years to the date of their extravagant Georgia wedding. The pair did not sign a prenup, meaning that all assets earned during their union exist as "community property," including their $68 million Beverly Hills estate.

The former couple have since attempted to keep their blended families connected, attending a brunch together in September aside almost all of their children.
