Matt LeBlanc looked almost unrecognizable during a "rare" outing in Los Angeles on Friday (September 6) after not being seen in public since December 2023.

According to Page Six, the beloved Friends alum was enjoying a day out in San Fernando Valley’s Van Nuys neighborhood where his altered appearance made it hard to recognize him.

Photos obtained by the outlet depict Perry looking casual in a grey hat, black top, dark wash jeans, and sneakers as he attempts to keep a low profile outside of a car showroom. One of the last times fans saw LeBlanc in public was to attend the funeral of his longtime friend, Matthew Perry, who passed away on October 28, 2023, due to the acute effects of ketamine.

Perry and LeBlanc portrayed one of the most iconic sitcom friendships the world has ever seen, starring alongside each other as Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing in Friends, but also had an unbreakable bond off set.

The LoveSick standout penned a heartfelt tribute to Perry in the weeks following his passing, recalling memories to last a lifetime.

"It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I'll never forget you. Never."

The most recent public sighting of LeBlanc arrives only weeks after five individuals were charged for Perry's death.
