ESPN Will Air Disney Sports Movies Instead Of Live Sports On Fridays!

Normally on Friday nights when you watch ESPN, you would expect to see live sporting events, but due to the currently health crisis happening around the world that isn't really an option right now. ESPN decided that sports fans everywhere need some sports in their lives while we wait for the MLB, the NBA, the NHL, and other sporting leagues to come back! Since Disney is the parent company of ESPN, they will fill that void by playing Disney sports films on Friday nights. Starting tonight (3/27), they will play The Rookie, which makes sense considering MLB had to postpone Opening Week. Next Friday (4/3) for what would've been the NCAA Final Four weekend, they will air Glory Road. Additional films on the list include Miracle, Invincible, Secretariat and The Greatest Game Ever Played.

What do you think of this alternative to sports?
