CVS Pharmacy is hopping on the CBD Bandwagon with other retailers that buy into the claims that the drug is an alternative to other pain medication. They will be selling CBD in their stores in seven different states across the country, including California. It's legal to sell CBD for topical use, but edible products containing the drug have yet to gain approval. (KBAK TV)
The second-largest, second-deadliest Ebola outbreak in history has exceeded 1,000 cases in less than nine months. 1,009 people have reported symptoms of fever in the Congo's northeastern provinces since August 1st. 944 of those have tested positive for Ebola. The risk of national and regional spread remains "very high," according to the World Health Organization. (ABC)
Apple has announced a new service called Apple TV Plus, a video streaming service which will place them in direct competition with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. The launch comes as Apple posted its first decline in revenue and profit last quarter in more than 10 years. Apple didn't say what it will charge for the streaming service. (CBS)
