'Friends From College' Cancelled After 2 Seasons On Netflix

Netflix has cancelled fan favorite show Friends From College after only two seasons, a rep from Netflix confirms to TVLine. The show's co-creator, Nicholas Stoller, announced the news late Monday [President's Day] on Twitter.

"Friends from College will not be returning for a third season. Thanks to everyone who watched it. Happy Presidents’ Day," he writes.

The TV show was casted with A-list actors including Cobie SmuldersKeegan-Michael KeyAnnie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred SavageJae Suh Park and Billy Eichner. The show debuted July 2017 with a second season featuring eight episodes that dropped January 2019.

In a statement, Netflix thanked EPs Stoller and Francesca Delbanco “for creating a wise, funny and supremely relatable show,” while also giving props to the “hard-working crew” and “amazingly talented cast.”

This isn't the only show set to leave Netflix. The streaming service just announced that it will no longer create season's for the series, Jessica Jones and Punisher. It was also just announced that revival series Fuller House will come to an end after a fifth and final season.
